Hi everyone, we hope all is well. May has proven to be a very busy month for us and this is the first time I've had a chance to get my photos organized and posted on the blog. In the last 3 weeks we traveled down to Grandma Amey's in Ventura to visit for 5 days, we spent an extended Mother's Day weekend in Lincoln with Grandma Denise and this past week, though we were at home, we did not hardly leave the house because of the oppressive heat wave.
Hannah was such a good girl on our travels and did very well on the plane to Grandma's. She continues to grow and change and she is really starting look and act like a little girl, not a baby. She has soooo many words I can't even begin to list them here. If you point to an object in our home she probably knows the word for it. She is becoming more independent and enjoys playing with blocks and reading books. We also do "art" almost every day and Hannah loves drawing with markers (and ocassionally licking them) and crayons.
In a few weeks we will making our big trip to Brazil for Tia Pri and Uncle Jojo's wedding in Sao Paolo. We are very excited but also a little anxious about the journey (over 10 hours on a plane!!). I'm sure Hannah will do fine and we'll have Grandma Denise and aunties with us to help out, but I'm packing Benadryl just in case things get crazy.
